Program Overview

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training Programs

192 hour (12 weeks) program for those 16 years or older and interested in pre-hospital care. 

This program prepares students for EMT certification, field performance, and employment. Instruction combines classroom learning, skills labs, and realistic scenarios.

  • Class size: Maximum 15 students
  • Length: 12 weeks
  • Schedule: 
      • Mondays & Wednesdays - 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
      • Saturdays - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Location: 
      • Occum Fire Department, 44 Taftville-Occum Rd Norwich, CT 06360
  • Tuition: $1,475
  • Payment plans available
  • MINIMUM AGE:  16 years old

Certification Outcome

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be:
  • Eligible for National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam
  • Eligible for Connecticut EMT certification
  • Course completion certificate issued
